Dr. Kirkpatrick was born and raised in Bay City, Texas. She graduated from Texas A&M in 2016with a Bachelor of Science in Health, with an Allied Health focus. She then went on to earn her Doctor of Optometry at the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN in 2021. During her four years there, she had well-rounded exposure to a variety of clinical specialties including specialty contact lenses, vision therapy, cataract and refractive surgery management, and ocular disease. She also participated in Student Volunteers in Optometric Service to Humanity (SVOSH), with whom she traveled to Merida, Mexico and Belmopan, Belize to provide eye care to communities in need.
Aggieland has always held a special place in Dr. Kirkpatrick’s heart, as it is where she met her husband, Justin. They are thrilled to be back in Bryan/College Station and think it is the perfect place to raise their two boys. They love being involved in their local church, cheering on the Aggies, and playing fetch with their golden retriever. Dr. Kirkpatrick is excited to be part of Brazos Valley Eye Care, and looks forward to providing you with caring, high quality eye care!
